Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee site planning operations, coordinate construction activities, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. You will serve as a key liaison between project management, site teams, and stakeholders, providing strategic oversight and technical expertise to drive project success.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive site plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely project delivery
  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including labor management, equipment deployment, and material logistics
  • Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on site performance, safety metrics, and compliance status
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and local Saudi Arabian construction standards
  • Manage and mentor site supervision teams, providing guidance and performance feedback
  • Utilize construction management software and tools to track progress, resources, and project data
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assessments to verify work meets specifications and standards
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience in site planning, construction management, or site supervision
  • Proven expertise in project scheduling, resource planning, and site coordination
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project planning tools
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex project data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience supervising diverse teams
  • Advanced technical knowledge of construction drawings, blueprints, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Problem-solving mindset with a detail-oriented approach to work
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and advanced project management platforms
  • Preferred: Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects in the Middle East
