Ideafarms is a Design + Innovation company. We design and develop experiences for non-physical interfaces - website, web apps and smart apps - as projects for clients as well as conceptualise, design and develop our own product ideas. 

We are looking for a Sr. PHP developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and contribute his skills to give shape to our product/project.

You will work closely with developers, designers and project managers as a part of our team. We have a fast-paced environment, therefore agility while maintaining quality and adherence to deadline is a must. You will be involved in planning, analysis, developing, and testing applications across various web projects, CMS powered websites, full-scale web applications, and internal systems. You will closely work with Mobile application development team for full filling the requirements and integration. You should be self motivated and keep yourself up-to-date about the latest in the field of Mobile and Web Technology.

The ideal candidate knows the ins and outs of PHP/MySQL and is a master at using server side technology and programming to find innovative solutions to functionality requirements. You must have a strong competency in PHP/MySQL and have a passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices. In addition, the applicant must have excellent analytic & problem solving skills, self-directed, organized, and extremely attentive to details.

If you have dabbled a bit with HTML 5, have heard of Responsive Web, know what a CMS is, have played with Wordpress / at least have a blog of your own, we are interested in talking to you even more! Remember we value good attitude over skills.

Your Responsibilities:

-          Analysis, designing, developing and testing solutions based on brief

-          Develop code in PHP, JS, Jquery, HTML 4&5 and CSS 2&3, AJAX, JSON/XML, web-services (REST/SOAP).

-          Participate in all aspects of development (Planning, Architecture, Development, Deployment, Documentation)

-          Carry out peer code reviews and quality assurance tasks on developed product

-          Work in cross-functional team and contribute ideas and solution with in team

-          Delivering to quality while sticking to deadlines.

-          Explore and adapt skills to newer technology and best practises

Your typical day’s activities may include:

-          Collaborating with our design and development teams to conceptualise solutions to  give shape to our ideas

-          Taking projects through from conception to completion, ensuring your solutions are implemented as intended by creative team

-          Development, maintenance, testing and Documentation of the projects that are assigned

To be able to do this you should have:

-          Excellent problem solving and technical analytical skills combined with knowledge of development and networking tools

-          Excellent Knowledge of OOPS

-          Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in PHP and MySql

-          Excellent Knowledge of SQL/PL SQL

-          Good knowledge and hands-on experience in HTML 4 & 5, CSS 3, Java Script, AJAX, JSON/XML, Web Services (REST/SOAP)

-          Knowledge of CMS, PHP Frameworks, Jquery, Prototype.js, Node.js

-          Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML

-          Excellent presentation, oral & written communication skills

Graduation - B.Tech/BCA/B.E

Post Graduation - MCA

Or relevant Degree/Diplomas from recognized institutes
