As a Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) you will:
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain the codebase of software products.
- Partner with engineers to drive innovation and expand our products through the use of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Develop new functionalities utilizing modern PHP (Laravel).
- Actively resolve bugs and implement enhancements throughout the development process.
- Create and maintain unit, feature, and integration tests.
- Assist in planning and outlining the scope of upcoming features.
Your qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar engineering role, with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and best coding practices.
- Experience with Eloquent ORM and query builders.
- Strong database skills in MySQL or PostgreSQL, ability to write efficient SQL Queries and perform database migrations.
- Experienced in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Comfortable working with the PHPStorm IDE for PHP in a Linux-based development environment, including familiarity with the command-line interface and common utilities.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and comfortable working with Docker.
- Adept at writing automated tests for Laravel applications using PHPUnit or Pest.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
