Senior PHP and Laravel Developer (SQL Design and AWS)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies, hands-on experience with SQL design, SOLID principles, REST API design, and leadership experience handling small teams. The role involves managing development projects, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's strategy.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting high-quality standards.

• Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve business processes.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to convey technical information.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
  • Continuously improve development processes and tools.

• Programming and Frameworks:

  • Primary Skills: PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, HTML, CSS
  • Hands-on experience with SQL design, SOLID principles, REST API design

• Cloud Services:

  • Experience with AWS and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Managing development projects and ensuring timely delivery
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 8-10 years of experience in software development and leading technology projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams
