As Senior Performance Manager you will work with an exceptional client as part of our largest high performing team in Melbourne. You will be a trusted guide for your team and your client, helping to navigate the performance media ecosystem and building successful performance strategies that deliver business outcomes across multiple channels. The role requires a deep understanding of SEM strategies and in platform experience including but not limited to Google Ads, SA360, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Google Tag Manager, GA4, Campaign Manager.

Core responsibilities:

  • Planning and strategy for performance media for our largest VIC client; search is the essence of the role, but there’s potential to get across social, programmatic, and other digital channels

  • Acting as the strategic bridge between clients and internal teams by leading clear, proactive communication. Provide consultative guidance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on KPIs and strategic goals

  • Manage and oversee the development of the SEM Executive and associate, including day-to-day oversight of their work across implementation, pacing and optimisations. Ensure delivery is on track and aligned to scope

  • Oversee reporting frameworks, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate ROI

A bit about you:

  • Demonstrates a proactive, self-driven approach with the energy and enthusiasm to take initiative, solve challenges, and deliver results without waiting for direction

  • A proven track record of delivering results by identifying and executing on key optimization opportunities

  • Experience managing and scaling campaigns across multiple platforms, including creative research, ad copy creation, optimization, and reporting.

  • Reporting at a monthly and quarterly basis, making sure details are clear and accurate

  • Ability and want to build a culture of continuous testing, learning, and refinement to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness. Can easily collaborate with different teams and celebrate collective achievements
