About the Role
As the Senior HR Operations Specialist, you will be the core engine driving our internal employee experience and operational compliance at Taager. Reporting directly to the Sr. Payroll & Personnel Manager, you will lead end-to-end HR operations processes, safeguard compliance with Egyptian labor laws, and manage vital employee benefits.
This role requires a highly organized, data-driven HR professional who can seamlessly balance strict regulatory compliance with the empathetic, fast-paced service delivery needed to support our rapidly growing workforce of 350+ professionals.
Role Responsibilities
1. Employee Lifecycle & Operations Management
- End-to-End Operations: Lead and manage all core HR operations processes, including seamless onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and overall employee lifecycle management.
- Probation & Renewals: Oversee the probation period review process and contract renewal cycles, handling all necessary stakeholder coordination, follow-ups, and legal documentation.
- Personnel Documentation: Prepare, review, and distribute critical HR-related documents, including employment contracts, official HR letters, employment verification letters, and specialized personnel files.
- Data & Payroll Support: Maintain highly accurate, updated employee records within our systems to support flawless payroll operations and ensure data integrity.
2. Employee Relations & Policy Guidance
- Case Management: Handle sensitive employee relations matters, escalations, and formal internal investigations, providing timely resolution while maintaining absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
- Policy Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing accurate and helpful guidance regarding Taager's internal policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, and leave management.
- Consistent Implementation: Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and workplace best practices across all departments within the organization.
3. Medical Insurance & Benefits Administration
- Program Ownership: Oversee and administer Taager’s medical insurance program, acting as the main liaison between employees and the provider.
- Operational Handling: Manage the daily lifecycle of the medical plan, including approvals, claims processing, premium refunds, complaints, and medical card additions or deletions.
- Critical Case Support: Personally oversee chronic and critical medical cases, ensuring affected employees receive high-priority support and empathetic guidance.
4. Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal procedures, and Egyptian Labor Law, constantly staying updated on evolving labor regulations and local HR trends.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth, efficient HR service delivery and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
- Discretion & Integrity: Handle all confidential and sensitive employee information with the highest level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
Experience & Background
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive experience in HR Operations and Personnel Management, ideally within a high-growth startup, tech company, or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Reporting Alignment: Proven experience working closely with or reporting to Payroll & Personnel leadership, showing a strong understanding of how HR data feeds into payroll accuracy.
- Legal Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance workflows, and local compliance standards.
- Benefits Administration: Hands-on experience managing complex corporate medical insurance contracts and employee claims pipelines.
