We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Payroll Professional to manage end‑to‑end payroll activities for the U.S. and Canada, including support for expatriate employees. The ideal candidate has solid operational payroll expertise, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience working with Workday. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process accurate and timely payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage payroll activities for expatriates, including taxable benefits, gross‑ups, shadow payroll, and collaboration with mobility or tax partners.
- Maintain and audit payroll data in Workday, ensuring accuracy of earnings, deductions, taxes, and time records.
- Review payroll reports, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies with HR, Finance, and external providers.
- Support year‑end processes including W‑2, T4, and statutory reporting.
- Respond to employee payroll and tax inquiries with a high level of service.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and Workday testing.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
- 5-7 years of payroll processing experience in the U.S. and Canada.
- Experience managing expatriate payroll or international assignments.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday (Payroll, HCM, Time Tracking).
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
- Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment.

- Canada Benefit experience
- Familiarity with global mobility and coordination with tax providers.
- Payroll certifications (FPC, CPP, PCP).
