Lazer Crypto is a specialized team within Lazer, comprising more than 30 full stack, web3 native engineers dedicated to building modern dApps and web3 solutions. This team helps founders and growing teams accelerate their product launches across various blockchain ecosystems. Our notable web3 clients include Berachain, Base, Privy, Polymarket, Uniswap, Alchemy, and others.

• 8+ years in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems or high-speed transaction platforms. You've built payment systems or real-time data pipelines before and loved it.

• Deep payments expertise across traditional payment networks (RTP/ACH, UPI, PIX, SEPA, SWIFT) and modern crypto rails. You understand stablecoins, have integrated with payment processors like Stripe or PayPal, and can navigate both bank APIs and blockchain protocols.

• Blockchain fluency with hands-on experience building on Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, or other chains. You've worked with stablecoin integrations, understand smart contract interactions, and maybe even wrote some Solidity or Rust.

• Zero-knowledge proof experience for payment privacy - you've implemented ZK circuits for transaction verification, worked with libraries like circom or arkworks, and understand how to hide payment amounts and sender/receiver details while still proving transaction validity.

• Performance optimization mindset - you've tuned JVM garbage collectors, optimized SQL queries, or fine-tuned cloud deployments for throughput. Terms like latency, throughput, and concurrency make you excited, not scared.

• Cloud-native experience deploying and running services in AWS, GCP, or Azure. You're comfortable with Docker/Kubernetes and have built CI/CD pipelines that handle financial-grade systems.

• Security and compliance focus - you code and build with security at top of mind, understand regulatory frameworks like AML/KYC, and have experience with financial compliance requirements.

• Consulting and client-facing experience in technical roles (solutions consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer). You can establish strong relationships and explain complex payment flows to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Fast-paced environment enthusiast who thrives in startup-like consulting work. Unknowns don't frighten you – you embrace learning new payment technologies on the fly and take ownership of complex integration challenges.

• Self-sufficient and proactive with strong autonomy. You can work independently with clients, scope technical solutions, and drive projects from concept to production.

• Build the Future of Money Movement: Design and code the core of real-time transaction engines for our clients. You'll combine Web2 payment networks (ACH, SWIFT, UPI) with Web3 rails to create unified payments platforms. One moment you might be working on an integration with a bank's RTP API, the next you're writing a smart contract to move stablecoins on-chain.

• Integrate Stablecoins & DeFi: Bring the power of crypto to mainstream payments for clients. You will integrate stablecoins into platforms for lightning-speed value transfer and connect to DeFi protocols to get the best FX rates automatically. We're talking always-on, cross-border transfers without the usual headaches.

• Performance Tuning at Extreme Scale: Obliterate transaction speed barriers. You'll profile every millisecond of transaction pipelines, from database writes to network hops, tweaking message brokers, optimizing smart contract calls, and fine-tuning cloud infrastructure to achieve sub-millisecond latency where possible.

• Ensure Rock-Solid Reliability: Architect resilient systems across multiple regions, implement fallback mechanisms, and use chaos engineering to test limits. Our reliability goal is 99.999% uptime and you're the kind of engineer who thinks five nines is just the beginning.
