The Consumer Spending Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit Cards business and our key consumer spending propositions. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.
Do work that matters
The Senior Partnership Manager – Premium Spending will drive the growth and evolution of Premium Spending partnerships and customer propositions across Travel, Dining, and lifestyle ecosystems. The role is responsible for delivering differentiated customer experiences that drive engagement, loyalty, and commercial performance. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role will support the evolution of Premium Spending partnerships. Developing data-enabled strategic alliances that drive partnership performance through customer engagement, portfolio growth, and commercial value realisation.

Key responsibilities will include
- Partnership Operating Model: Design and implement a scalable partnership operating model across Consumer Spending, establishing consistent onboarding, contracting, integration, governance, and go-to-market frameworks to improve execution efficiency and speed to market.
- Partnership Connectivity & Engagement: Improve partnership connectivity, customer engagement visibility, and data integration capabilities to enable stronger utilisation of insights, trigger-based engagement strategies, and enhanced customer and partner value realisation.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute forward-looking travel and dining partnership strategies, leveraging customer segmentation, campaign integration, and partner collaboration to deliver differentiated propositions and shared value for customers, merchants, and the broader portfolio.
- Risk management: Responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, robust product governance, identification of issues, escalation and swift resolution of issues including remediation.

- Experience managing complex strategic partnerships within financial services, travel, loyalty, premium lifestyle, or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market and customer engagement strategies, with strong knowledge of marketing ecosystems and campaign integration
- Experience developing partnership operating frameworks and governance models
- Product management experience and/or strong understanding of API integrations, digital ecosystems, and customer engagement platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders within complex, fast-paced environments, working cross-functionally across product, marketing, technology and legal
- Strong ability to synthesise complex information into clear, commercially focused recommendations that support strategic decision-making and stakeholder alignment

Skills Required
