About the Role

As a Senior Partnership Manager focused on Strategic Partnerships, you will be a self-starter, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group. These include the Strategic Partnerships team, Lending, Customer, Distribution, and cross-functional Experience teams, with representation from Product, Design, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and Engineering.

We are seeking a customer-focused leader to help deliver world-class digital home loan experiences. Our roadmap features significant greenfield development and digital product iterations to automate every aspect of the Australian homeownership journey for our customers and team members. Achieving this requires strong collaboration with our strategic partners.

You will take ownership of partnership agreements, overseeing platform functionality delivery, and driving product improvements to enhance user outcomes. You will also collaborate with teams to coordinate the delivery of new capabilities and products.

Although this is a senior role, it remains hands-on and fast-paced. The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring the strategy, negotiation, design, and delivery of key partnership initiatives. This role reports directly to the GM, Lending.

Job Description

  • Build and grow long-term strategic B2B partnerships that deliver value to clients
  • Management of strategic relationships with key accounts and onboard new partnership relationships to various businesses within the group
  • Achievement of growth and retention revenue targets
  • Provide quarterly reports and key insights for the senior leadership team
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic account plans
  • Overall project delivery responsibility and oversight
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations

Qualifications

  • A strong sales background with demonstrable performance in generating, forecasting, developing, and owning sales targets.
  • Previous experience in a senior sales role or business development where you have strategically managed and grown a small portfolio of high value, complex accounts
  • Experience in Home Loans, Finance and Banking will be highly regarded
  • Importantly, you will be a proven hunter and relationship manager with strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • A strong commercial background and understanding of channel plans and pricing strategies
  • A keen interest in technology and the ability to sell complex solutions.
  • Consultative approach to account development - experience of long and short sales cycles
  • Comfortable operating at C level with a good understanding of how financial institutions are structured and how the market is transforming
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high pace, dynamic team environment
  • Be driven and self-motivated to exceed targets
