Senior Paralegal

Amentum is seeking a Senior Paralegal to provide domestic and international corporate governance and compliance support to the legal department, including public company support. This is a hybrid or remote position, we prefer candidates that are located near our Herndon, VA location. This role requires US citizenship. This role may require the ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
What You'll Do:
- Support the legal department in the management of domestic and international corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws.
- Support public company filings in close coordination with SEC counsel.
- Support existing and new foreign entity registrations; support facilitation of cross functional input and coordinate with stakeholders as required.
- Assist with domestic entity tasks, including professional licensing registrations, state registrations, and periodic annual report filings.
- Track international registrations and powers of attorney.
- May interface with outside counsel in support of the above tasks.
- Assist the legal department with special projects and initiatives.
- Independently prepare routine legal documents and reports under attorney supervision.
- May design, develop, and maintain law department databases.
- May supervise the work of other Paralegals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to develop and sustain partnerships with internal / external partners and others.
- Project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain a high rate of accuracy and production under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Five-ten (5-10) years' paralegal or legal operations support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in associated discipline, paralegal accreditation, certificate, or other equivalent.
- Management experience.
- US Citizenship is required to apply.
- This role may require the ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
