ZS' Corporate Support teams operate the firm's core internal enterprise functions. The ZS Legal Team reviews contracts, advises the firm on matters of legal consequence, and proactively assesses and manages the firm's risk exposure. The legal team is responsible for staying abreast of legal developments impacting the firm on a global basis and then advising the firm based on the changing legal landscape.
SENIOR PARALEGAL - CONTACTS
As we continue to grow our firm, we are currently seeking a Paralegal to join our Chicago- Merchandise Mart office to support our internal corporate processes as well as our client relationships, partnerships and delivery. The ZS Legal Team offers a collaborative working environment to support ZS' fast-growing, innovative and cutting-edge services and technology products. As a Seniore Paralegal, you will support the ZS legal team in its mission to provide legal services to the organization.
What You'll Do:

• Assist in the contracting process (manage databases for tracking contracts and contract provisions)
• Manage/maintain ZS agreement templates and forms
• Draft and revise correspondence, amendments and other documents
• Assist in maintaining the corporate records and other corporate governance documents
• Coordinate with offices and local counsel on contracts, policies, forms and matters
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization
• Design, recommend, and implement new processes and procedures to increase group efficiency
• Support special projects as they arise
• Ad hoc legal research

What You'll Bring:

• BA/BS degree required with a strong academic record
• Paralegal certification
• 2-4 years of paralegal or similar experience, preferably with an in-house legal department or top-tier law firm
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a strong ability to review and organize numerous legal documents
• Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to professionalism are required
• Foreign language skills preferred
• Certification as an Illinois notary is desirable
• Sense of humor is appreciated

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
