SMX is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, Oracle APS DBA with Federal Govt Experience. This position is a hybrid role supporting a Baltimore, MD based customer. Public Trust Clearance is required.
2. Engage Federal Stakeholders on all technical issues and resolutions and Operations and Maintenance activities on Federal Oracle Applications Environments
3. Maintain, upgrade, trouble shoot Oracle software for full technical stack meeting Operational and Service Level standards for Operational Readiness
4. Perform 24/7 support for Federal Oracle Production Environments and DR
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Expert in APS DBA (10+ years' Experience) Operations and Maintenance for Oracle E-Business Suite and Apps Database
- With version 12.2 or greater active current experience
2. Strong experience with Oracle Technology stack (5+ years): Oracle RAC, ASM, DataGuard, Goldengate, OVM
3. Expert DBA Trouble shooting, Backup / Rollback procedures, Development Support for Oracle Databases (10+ years)
4. Current experience in managing Oracle DB version 19c High Availability including, multi-node, hot patching, ADOP and FS Clone procedures
5. Experience in Linux Operating Systems
6. Experience Administration of Oracle Single Sign on Infrastructure /SSO applications: OVD11g, OUD12c, OID12c (DIP), OAM12c, OHS 12c
7. Experience Administration of Oracle Middleware / SOA Applications: SOA11g/12c,
8. Operating Systems: Red Hat/Oracle Linux, HP-UX, AIX, Windows, Solaris, Oracle VM
9. Strong Experience Database and Infrastructure Monitoring/Tuning (5+ years)
- Specifically: Oracle OEM Cloud Control 13c, StatsPack, Oracle Advisors, Nagios, PRTG, TKPROF, SQL Profiler, ExplainPlan
10. Experience Oracle WebLogic implementation and administration
11. Experience in managing a real-time Oracle disaster recovery (DR) environment and managing DR exercises
12. Experience with Oracle Linux / Dell Virtual Server infrastructure environments
Desired Skills & Experience
1. Experience in upgrading Oracle DB, Applications and Middle Tier components
2. Experience with Markview - Oracle Integration, Apex, WebCenter, OBIEE 11g
3. Certification in Oracle Database Implementation Specialist in Oracle DB version 12c or greater
4. Project Management and Technical documentation on all the upgrades.
5. SQL Tools: SqlDeveloper, Toad with Enterprise single sign on integration
6. Experience with Development release deployment from Git / Bit Bucket
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
8. Excellent communication skills
