About the role
Join North America’s largest live selling and video commerce platform, and help drive the next level of growth as our newest Senior or Principal Software Engineer in US. Our engineering team stays close to our customers, building the tools to deliver on our promise of making running their business easier. We make decisions fast, and priorities change as we adapt to the needs of our industry so we welcome folks that relish in the challenges of pace. We believe in quick iteration and in-the-moment feedback, so we can collectively build the best team and product.

Main Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of problems within our core web application
- Scale solutions to meet customer expectations
- Opportunistically modernize platform features to meet the changing market
- Focus on solving problems from both the customer-facing and backend perspectives
- Gain a deep understanding of our product and become involved in driving out product implementation
- Join a rapidly growing technical team with the opportunity to take on both product and technical problems
- Guide and mentor junior team members and enable them to deliver on time
Qualifications & Skills
- Have a strong understanding of core computer science principles
- Have 5+ years (9+ for Principal) professional experience with at least one Frontend web framework (eg. ReactJS , VueJS etc.)
- Have 5+ years (9+ for Principal) professional experience with at least one backend javascript framework (eg. ExpressJS etc.)
- Cloud Deployment Experience (AWS Lambda , EC2 , Step Functions etc.)
- Have good experience working with Databases (MySQL, DynamoDB - Preferred, etc).
- Have end to end understanding of architecture, tech stack of the applications you are developing
- Experience working on a high scale or rapidly growing web application
- Are comfortable in a fast paced, pragmatic work environment
- Experience working in a remote team
- Are a strong written and verbal communicator
