Senior Operations Analyst

Amentum is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our team providing laboratory support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.

Senior Operations Analyst Responsibilities Include:

• Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives

• Developing Life-Cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs

• Analyzing information to develop program reporting systems including systems specifications, data gathering, analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology

• Analyzing new or proposed legislation, regulations, or requirements to determine impact on program operations, engineering design, or security

• Developing management or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology

• Analyzing and evaluating proposed changes in mission or operating procedures. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operating programs. 

• Experience analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives; developing Life-Cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs; analyzing information to develop program reporting systems including systems specifications, data gathering, analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology; analyzing new or proposed legislation, regulations, or requirements to determine impact on program operations, engineering design, or security; developing management or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology; and analyzing and evaluating proposed changes in mission or operating procedures. 

• Experience with Joint Programs with knowledge and experience in the acquisition and development of advanced technologies in order to provide a programmatic engineering analysis to support cost, schedule, and performance evaluation. 

• Experience with programmatic engineering evaluation techniques and demonstrated ability to communicate complex engineering issues to senior military and civilian leadership. 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
