Background
Euronext Securities CPH plays a critical role in the Danish financial infrastructure as the Central Securities Depository (CSD) and Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) responsible for settlement and custody of securities. Following the 2025 sector-wide Stress Test of Operational Resilience conducted by the Danish FSA and Danmarks Nationalbank and the increasing threatlandscape Euronext Securities wish to strengthen both its own resilience capabilities and its contribution to sector-wide recovery, reconciliation and crisis management arrangements. To support this agenda, VP seeks a Senior Tech Operational Resilience & Recovery Consultant .
The Role
The role bridges Enterprise Architecture, Technology Operations, Security, Business Continuity and Sector Resilience initiatives. The position acts as the primary technical authority for recovery architecture and operational resilience design.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding and documenting Euronext Securities current systemplatform and it’s interdependencies to create the foundation for producing the recovery & Reconciliation Design of different crisis scenarios
Contributing to the design and production of internal and sector playbooks, governance and contingency plans where your focus is on the systemplatform recovery
Producing and updating disaster recovery (DR) plans to meet Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) expectations and align local, group and sector frameworks
Leading scenario mapping, interdependency analysis and testing of contingency plans both internally and across the sector
Representing Euronext Securities Copenhagen in sector working groups and towards DFSA, Danish National Bank (DN), Financial Infrastructure Data Agency (FiDA) and clients
Reporting to the steering committee and recommending the future operational setup for the IT department
Required Experience
10+ years within Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Disaster Recovery, IT Continuity, Resilience Engineering or similar disciplines. Experience from financial services, market infrastructures or other critical industries is preferred.
Technical Competencies
Distributed systems, messaging platforms, data integrity, recovery architectures, disaster recovery design, reconciliation processes and enterprise architecture. Knowledge of a mainframe setup is not a must but a clear advantage.
Personal Profile
Strategic but hands-on. Able to challenge assumptions, communicate with senior stakeholders and regulators. You must be able to translate complex technical topics into practical recovery capabilities. Good at writing and documenting. Fluent Danish is a requirement. A structured mindset and focus on details are vital.
