RESPONSIBILITIES
P2P Process:
-
Procurement of indirect materials and services, taking into account quality, safety, time, cost efficiency and security of supply in accordance with the value limits of operational purchasing and the processes of the Procurement Management Manual
-
Processing of procurement requisitions and tasks in the respective IT systems including documentation
-
Independent processing of complaints and enforcement claims for defects/quality issues
-
Participation in supplier evaluation
-
Independent processing of complex clarifications of requirements / tenders / negotiations incl. supplementary management of individual requirements according to the value limits of operational purchasing
-
Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.
Optimization of procurement process :
-
Independent execution of complex analyses to optimize the procurement process in the assigned categories, including identification and development of measures as well as their implementation
-
Use of the correct procurement channels (order, call-off, ARIBA, etc.)
-
Support in the implementation of procurement optimization measures
-
Stakeholder Management
-
Independent identification of alternative sources of supply for the responsible categories

Participation in special projects and/or performance of special tasks
REQUIREMENTS
-
College or University diploma/degree.
-
Fresh graduates or experienced candidates up to 3 years+ of relevant experience in procurement are encourage to apply.

Proficiency in English and Japanese are required for this role. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus point.

Very good command of Evonik purchasing tools (SAP, Ariba, RiSource, etc.) and MS Office (Excel, PowerApps, PowerPoint, PRIME & etc).

Comprehensive knowledge in one's own field of expertise (more than 3 years) as well as in-depth practical and theoretical knowledge in related and associated subject areas (eclasses/categories)

Skilled in multitasking, teamwork, and communication; self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
