Over the last year, our backend engineers tackled challenges like:
- Building a real-time messaging platform that handles millions of messages per day using Node.js and WebSockets;
- Utilizing AI to automatically generate reports tailored to users from the data they've provided;
- Creating a serverless architecture using Node.js and AWS Lambda for a high-traffic NFT website;
- Using LLMs to semi-automate a big client's content generation platform.

Job tasks include:
- Build applications in a modern web stack. Our projects are built in Node.js and we use TypeScript and NestJS.
- Code, test, and operate Node.js-based services.
- Perform systems analysis, design, and delivery.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic workflows to improve development efficiency and delivery quality.
- Contribute to AI-powered products and features, from automated reporting to intelligent content workflows.
- Continually discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
- Take ownership of solutions from implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration.
- Ensure systems remain reliable, scalable, and maintainable in production environments.
- 5+ years of experience in web development, of which 3+ years with JavaScript/TypeScript-based technologies.
- Strong experience building and operating backend services with Node.js.
- Experience taking features and systems from design through implementation, testing, and production delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot…) and agentic approaches, paired with the engineering judgment needed to validate the outcome.
- Great communication skills and comfort collaborating with teammates, clients, and stakeholders.
- A humble attitude with a team-first mindset.
- Experience with AWS, basic DevOps practices, and scaling infrastructure to support growing products.
- Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL.
Nice/Bonus if you've:
- Designed, built, or operated LLM-powered systems in production environments.
- Worked with evaluation, monitoring, or handling non-deterministic model behavior at scale.
