The Opportunity

As a Senior New Business Representative, you will interact with internal and external associates to facilitate the issuing of annuity policies. You will work with senior members of your team in a fast-paced environment as well as aiding other areas of the business, mentoring junior level associates. This position has a formal career progression plan in place.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes new applications for annuity policies. Initiates the transfer of funds to fund pending annuity policies.
• Verifies applications for completeness.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of regulatory, technical and/or underwriting guidelines to access applications for compliance.
• Facilitates the suitability review and legal review of applications as necessary.
• Complies with company and regulatory guidelines/requirements.
• Refers more complex matters to senior level employees.
• Responds to routine inquiries from internal and external customers appropriately and timely, which includes telephone calls, emails, faxes, etc.
• Enters new applications into the appropriate systems in accordance with high quality and quantity standards.
• Must learn multiple operating systems and use as appropriate.
• May provide training to lower-level employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ideal Qualifications

Minimum of one year of related experience in a similar line of business.
