Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure firewalls (FortiGate) and Secure Connectivity on SD Wan.
• Deploy and Maintain other network security devices in the estate.
• Design, implement, and maintain network and firewall infrastructure across estate.
• Deploy and manage branch SD Branch network architecture
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for network systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise network support role.
• Deep knowledge of FortiGate firewall and core switch management.
• Expertise in general deployment and support services.
• Advanced knowledge of technologies including BGP, VPN, SD-WAN, and QoS.

Platform Knowledge:

• Proven skills in advanced networking technologies including but not limited to design and maintenance services primarily the Fortinet Stack.

Education:

• Formalized technical Industry Certifications (FortiGate NSE 4 / NSE 5)
• Specialization in Networking and Systems Administration.
• A Degree in an IT related field will be beneficial.

Formal required basic Certifications:

• A+,
• N+ and
• Server +

Compulsory certifications that are mandatory to apply for the position.

• Minimum NSE4 Certification
• NSE5 (Network Security Professional)

The following are beneficial certifications:

• CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Administrator)
• Aruba ACASA (Aruba Certified Switching Associate)
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• Cisco Certified Specialist
