About the Team:
The Network Platform team is part of the broader Infrastructure Platform organization and is responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient network services across on‑prem and cloud environments. The team partners closely with Cloud, Security, Application, and Operation teams to deliver standardized, automated networking capabilities that support business growth. We focus on modern network architecture, cloud-native services, and infrastructure automation to improve reliability and speed to delivery. About the Role:
As a Senior Network Platform Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing and engineering cloud-first network solutions and driving automation across the network platform. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and repeatable networking services in public cloud and hybrid environments. You will work independently on complex initiatives while partnering with cross‑functional teams to integrate network capabilities into broader platform solutions. Your work will directly impact the stability, security, and agility of the firm’s technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Designing, implementing, and supporting cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms
Engineering hybrid connectivity solutions including VPN, Direct Connect / ExpressRoute, and cloud-native routing
Developing and maintaining network automation using Infrastructure as Code and scripting frameworks
Standardizing network services, templates, and patterns to improve consistency and repeatability
Troubleshooting complex network issues across cloud and on‑prem environments and performing root cause analysis
Partnering with Security teams to ensure network designs meet security and compliance requirements
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Evaluating new cloud networking technologies and making recommendations to improve the platform
Requirements of the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
8+ years of experience in network engineering with strong exposure to cloud and hybrid environments
Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, routing, security groups, NACLs)
Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, and firewalling
Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python)
Experience collaborating with application, cloud, and security teams on shared initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
