Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable and secure communication across all company networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Develop network architectures that support business needs and scalability.
Install and configure network hardware and software.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Monitor network performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular network assessments and implement improvements.
Security and Compliance:
Implement firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to protect network integrity.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
Proficient in routing, switching, and network security protocols.
Certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
CompTIA Network+
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
ITIL Foundation Certification
