Senior Network Engineer

Maverc Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dedicated team. The Advanced Network Engineer supports MCTSSA operations through advanced network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity hardening of tactical and enterprise-level infrastructures

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LANs, WANs, and CANs
• Analyze network traffic and application performance using packet analysis
• Provide cybersecurity hardening using STIGs, ACAS, and patch management
• Develop network baselines and modeling tools
• Manage virtual systems and security platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto)
• Document and report network configurations and designs

General Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Secret clearance with NATO access (no interim)
• Adherence to MCEN cybersecurity and operational policies
• Strong technical communication and documentation skills

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of network engineering experience
• CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
• CCNA certification
• Wireshark Certified Network Analyst or RCPE Professional Packet Analyzer Plus
• VMware experience (vCloud)
• Microsoft Windows Server or Linux admin experience
• Security boundary technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS)

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline
• CCNP or CCDP certification
• VMware Cloud Specialist certification
• IPv6, Windows Server, and Linux certifications
• Scripting proficiency (Perl, Python, PowerShell)
