Your Mission
Support a dynamic and mission-driven environment by designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. You will work with a team of engineers to optimize end-to-end system performance, minimize network latency, and ensure secure, high-speed connectivity. Your expertise will contribute to strategic modernization efforts and enhancements for large-scale telecommunications infrastructures.
You Will Excel If You Are:
- Skilled in designing and optimizing network architectures to support front-end and back-end components
- Experienced in conducting data captures for network performance analysis
- Proficient in minimizing network latency and maximizing data throughput using design analysis and monitoring tools
- Adept at configuring and optimizing networks for various applications, including load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, and encryption technologies
- Comfortable working with Virtual Networking (NSX) and Arista networking solutions
- Capable of managing network diagrams, accreditations, and documentation for compliance and operational efficiency
- Able to lead large-scale installation projects and provide guidance to junior engineers
A Day In The Life Of:
- Designing and implementing network solutions to meet business and mission requirements
- Managing LAN, CAN, and WAN infrastructures, coordinating cutovers, and troubleshooting incidents
- Overseeing network hardware and software integration to meet ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulatory standards
- Providing hands-on support for Cisco, VMware, and Linux/Windows environments
- Optimizing network performance through continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance
- Leading efforts to modernize and enhance telecommunications infrastructure
- Collaborating with end users, operations teams, and program management to address network challenges
- Developing algorithms and models for advanced networking and telecommunications systems
Must Have:
- TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) additional years of experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree)
- Ten (10) years of experience providing Network Engineering support and training
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
- Experience with Cisco, VMware, and Linux/Windows support
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Virtual Networking (NSX) and Arista networking solutions
- Strong background in network security, VoIP, VPNs, and firewall management
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments
