About You
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team at Carsome. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across multiple locations. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of network protocols, hardware, and security technologies, and be able to handle complex troubleshooting scenarios.
Your Day - To - Day
- Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, maintain, and monitor network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
- VPN & VLAN Configuration: Set up, manage, and troubleshoot VPNs and VLANs to ensure secure and efficient network segmentation.
- Fortinet, Ruijie, Cisco, and Huawei Devices: Configure and maintain network equipment from Fortigate, Ruijie, Cisco, and Huawei, ensuring smooth communication between these platforms.
- Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls and access control systems, to protect Carsome’s data and resources.
- Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure minimal downtime through best practices.
- Protocol & Services Management: Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP configuration and management to maintain a robust and efficient network environment.
- Collaboration & Support: Work with internal teams, vendors, and external clients to resolve network issues, providing technical support as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network documentation, including topologies, equipment configurations, and procedures.
Your - Know - How
- CCNA Certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in handling network devices from Fortigate, Ruijie, Cisco, and Huawei.
- Strong hands-on experience in VPN setup and VLAN configuration.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, especially TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting and security practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional network certifications (e.g., Fortinet NS).
- Familiarity with cloud networking.
- Experience with automation tools for network management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
