Senior Network Engineer (On-site)

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day health of the network infrastructure and equipment, ensuring consistent performance and rapid resolution of issues;
• Design and implement improvements to both on-premise and cloud-based network systems and interconnects;
• Eliminate single points of failure and implement automated failover mechanisms;
• Identify network bottlenecks and come up with proposals for improvements;
• Plan and execute scheduled network maintenance with minimal disruption to operations (occasionally outside of regular working hours);
• Keep network documentation, asset inventory, and monitoring systems accurate and up to date;
• Managing relationships and being the point of contact for third parties.

What we’re looking for

• Available full-time (40 hours per week);
• Strong understanding and practical experience with routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF;
• Familiarity with multicast and Precision Time Protocol (PTP);
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware, such as Juniper SRX, Cisco Nexus 3000/9000, and Arista switches;
• Knowledge of data center operations, including cabling standards, optical technologies, and hardware setup;
• Experience with modern data center technologies like VXLAN and EVPN;
• Experience using open-source monitoring tools such as Telegraf, Prometheus, and Grafana;
• CCIE Certification;
• Great communication skills;
• Keen to identify and solve issues quickly;
• Nice to have:

• Solid AWS networking knowledge, such as VPCs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, and related components;
• Experience with low-latency networking environments;
• Driver's license (B).

The Interview Process 

• Introductory Interview (Duration: 30 minutes);
• Technical Interview 1 (Duration: 60 minutes);
• Technical Interview 2 (preferably on-site) (Duration: 90 minutes).
• Technical assignment;
• Interview with the Team Lead DevOps & CTO.
