Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer – Cloud & Hybrid Networking to strengthen our global networking capabilities across manufacturing (OT), enterprise IT, and hybrid cloud environments.
This role emphasizes hands-on engineering and deep operational understanding in environments where IT and OT requirements intersect. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with network architects, controls/OT teams, security, and regional IT to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and operationally sound network solutions across plants, corporate locations, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities
 

Cloud & Hybrid Networking

  • Design, implement, and operate hybrid network solutions connecting manufacturing plants, enterprise networks, and public cloud environments.
  • Engineer and support cloud networking components including VPC/VNET design, routing, NAT, connectivity, and security integration across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba.
  • Support secure access and edge networking patterns where required.

Manufacturing & OT / IT Alignment

  • Support standardized plant-to-enterprise connectivity aligned with OT segmentation, resiliency, and operational safety requirements.
  • Partner closely with controls/OT teams and plant IT to ensure solutions are deployable and aligned with manufacturing realities.
  • Translate enterprise network standards into implementable, plant-ready designs.

Design Execution & Engineering Standards

  • Act as a senior technical contributor and design reviewer.
  • Develop and maintain engineering reference designs and documentation.
  • Review vendor and internal designs for long-term supportability.

Operations & Escalation

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex hybrid, plant, and cloud-networking issues.
  • Work with vendors for deep troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Direct responsibility for design, build, change, and operational support of production networks.
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, routing design, segmentation, IPSEC and NAT.
  • Experience with hybrid connectivity across plants, datacenters, and cloud.
  • Experience supporting IT/OT environments and controls teams.
  • Practical exposure to SD-WAN and SASE technologies (Fortinet preferred).
  • Hands-on automation/IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, Python).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work effectively with network architects, security, OT/controls teams, and regional IT.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and support peers while driving work to completion.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement in complex environments.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications preferred: Fortinet NSE4+, Microsoft AZ-700, AWS Advanced Networking (plus).
