bits&BYTE is looking for an experienced Senior Network & Cybersecurity Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, network security, and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure and security environments.
Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing, and switching.
Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, network security, and network segmentation.
Implement and manage cybersecurity solutions, including PAM, SIEM, NAC, MFA, and EDR/XDR.
Lead network and security solution design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting.
Handle complex L2/L3 escalations and perform root cause analysis.
Work closely with customers, OEMs, and internal teams on technical solutions and projects.
Prepare technical documentation, HLD/LLD, and solution proposals.
Lead and mentor technical teams, manage task allocation, and ensure successful project delivery.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Networking, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN.
Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco.
Experience with PAM, SIEM, NAC, MFA, EDR/XDR, and IAM solutions.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, RADIUS, LDAP, and security monitoring.
Strong troubleshooting, solution design, and customer management skills.
Prior experience in team leadership and managing technical projects.
CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE/FCP/FCSS, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant networking and cybersecurity certifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills Required
- 10+ years of technical experience in enterprise networking, network security, cybersecurity solutions, and infrastructure
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRF, QoS, and network segmentation
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and next-generation firewall solutions
- Experience with PAM solutions and privileged account security
- Strong understanding of SIEM architecture, log collection, correlation, monitoring, and incident investigation
- Hands-on experience with Network Access Control and 802.1X authentication
- Strong understanding of EDR/XDR technologies and endpoint security
- Strong understanding of MFA, authentication, authorization, and identity security
- Ability to prepare high-level and low-level design documents and network security architecture diagrams
- Experience leading complex network and cybersecurity implementation projects
- Experience providing L2/L3 and senior-level technical support, incident management, and root-cause analysis
- Ability to work with customers, OEMs, vendors, and internal technical teams
- Ability to support technical presentations, solution discussions, estimations, and pre-sales activities
