What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and support hybrid network architectures across on‑premises data centers and Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with other engineers to architecture, deployment, and ongoing support of Cisco enterprise switching and routing environments
- Design, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabrics, including tenant, policy, and application‑centric networking models
- Architect and support SD‑WAN solutions to enable resilient, secure, and high‑performance WAN connectivity
- Design, deploy, and manage Meraki MX, MS, and MR platforms, including SD‑WAN, VPN, and traffic‑shaping policies
- Implement and support A10 Load Balancers to ensure application availability, performance, and scalability
- Design and manage Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, and hybrid connectivity
- Implement and maintain Azure Front Door for global traffic management, application acceleration, and edge security
- Design and enforce Azure Network Security, including NSGs, Azure Firewall, routing controls, and integration with on‑prem security platforms
- Architect and support site‑to‑site VPN, point‑to‑site VPN, and ExpressRoute connectivity between on‑prem and Azure
- Ensure secure, symmetric, and efficient traffic flow across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments
- Troubleshoot complex network issues spanning on‑prem, cloud, WAN, and security domains
- Apply network segmentation and zero‑trust principles to reduce risk and improve security posture
- Automate network tasks using scripting, APIs, and Infrastructure as Code to improve reliability and reduce manual effort
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and architecture standards
- Participate in change management, incident response, and root‑cause analysis for network events
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to align network architecture with business requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other network and cloud engineers
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role supporting enterprise‑scale environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco enterprise switches and routing platforms
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid on‑premises and Azure network architectures
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and high‑availability designs
- Hands‑on experience with Meraki networking solutions (MX, MS, MR), including VPNs and SD‑WAN
- Experience supporting SD‑WAN solutions in production environments
- Experience implementing and managing Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, VPN connectivity, and network security controls
- Working knowledge of Azure Network Security, including NSGs, firewall concepts, and traffic flow design
- Experience troubleshooting complex network issues across on‑prem, cloud, and WAN environments
- Strong understanding of network security principles, segmentation, and least‑privilege access
- Ability to create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and architecture standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound technical decisions in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certification such as AZ‑900, AZ‑104, or higher
- Advanced experience with Cisco ACI, including fabric design and policy‑based networking
- Experience with A10 Load Balancers or similar application delivery controllers
- Experience implementing Azure Front Door or other global traffic management solutions
- Experience with ExpressRoute and advanced hybrid connectivity scenarios
- Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code, including Python, PowerShell, APIs, Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Experience integrating on‑prem and cloud networking with enterprise security platforms
- Cisco or networking certifications (e.g., CCNP or equivalent)
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical leadership within a team
- Background working in regulated or security‑focused environments
