BAE Systems is searching for a Senior Network Analyst to configure, install, and support secure Cisco network hardware for routing, switching, and wireless networks. As a Senior Network Analyst, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining compliance documentation including both hardware and IOS standards.
- Function as a leader in small group projects and team objectives.
- Involved with major network installations and upgrades.
- Responsible for maintianing hardware configurations and standards
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of the physical network layer while maintaining neat and organized MDF/IDFs.
- Involved with UPS management and IDF documentation
- Support day-to-day service requests and trouble tickets using enterprise ServiceNow ticket system.
- Provide cost estimates for networking for supported projects using standard ROM templates.
- Work directly with vendors and contractors to support project requirements.
- Lead the planning and assessment phases of projects and assist with project design/implementation phases
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree required (or at least 10 years of experience)
- Cisco certifications highly preferred (CCNA/CCNP)
- Experience using Cisco tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), and vManage.
- Good knowledge of tool such as NetBrain, Solarwinds, BlueCat
- Experience configuring and managing SD-WAN routers
- Experience configuring and managing Cisco switches
- Good understanding of DNS and DHCP technologies
- Ability to work independently while working toward commonteam objectives.
- Good communiction skills are required as candidate will be working directly with end users and other subcontractors.
- Good organizational skills required as candidate will be required to work multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Use of standard Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word required
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- CCNA/CCNP certification in routing and switching preferred OR equivalent experience
- Experience configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches
- Experience managing an SD-WAN environment
- Experience managing Cisco Wireless environment
- Experience using Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, vManage
- Good understanding of ServiceNow ticketing system
- Experience providing support to users/customers
- Knowledge of UPS.
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining network IDF/MDF documentation
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
