clients’ dream designs into well-functioning platforms.With a passion for code and all things digital, you will become a vital member of our team of talented engineers and development experts. As a Developer at DEPT® , you will work on a global digital project for a high-profile B2B and B2C brand, developing digital products and services from complex e-commerce solutions to CMS implementations. We work with .Net MVC, Tridion, Sitecore, Optimizely and Umbraco, amongst other technologies, so experience in these areas will be ideal.You will work in a vibrant environment with clever minds that work for various large global clients. JOB PURPOSE

  • Collaborate with the development team to plan, design, and implement web applications according to project specifications and best practices.
  • Ensure that all code is tested, maintainable, and adheres to DEPT's coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other team members and incorporating feedback received.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and designers to ensure project requirements are met and any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Continuously learn and develop skills in .NET and other relevant technologies, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to the improvement of DEPT's development processes.
  • Successful completion of assigned tasks within specified deadlines, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Consistent adherence to DEPT's coding standards and best practices, resulting in high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Active participation in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Effective communication with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders, leading to positive collaboration and timely resolution of issues.
  • Demonstrated growth in technical skills and expertise in .NET and related technologies, as well as a proactive approach to staying current with industry trends.
  • Positive feedback from team members, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding performance and contributions to the team and projects.
  • Successful mentorship and support of junior developers, contributing to their growth and development within the team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and .NET Core 
  • Collaborate with design, project management, and other development teams to create responsive, user-friendly web solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following DEPT's coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, implementing performance improvements and refactoring efforts as needed.
  • Attend team meetings, actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to internal documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends, incorporating new knowledge into the development process.
  • Support and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core, with experience in developing web applications.
  • Familiarity in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including responsive web design principles and experience with front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • Familiarity with React Applications as the BE services provide the data for a React web application.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, such as SQL Server, and experience with data access technologies like Entity Framework.
  • Experience using version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, effectively communicate with technical and non-technical team members, and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Proactive in learning new technologies and techniques, and adapting to changes in the industry.
  • Currently based in Croatia or Macedonia
