Senior .NET & AI Software Engineer

Join Euronext as a Software Developer focused on AI and .NET.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing new functionalities to support the delivery of core trading applications used across Euronext markets, international markets and multilateral trading facilities (MTFs). You will bring expertise in both software development and artificial intelligence, contributing to the evolution of our technology landscape.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Translating business requirements into functional applications and innovative artificial intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) solutions
• Designing, fine-tuning, deploying and optimising AI and machine learning (ML) models for real-world applications
• Developing and refining prompts for LLM-based solutions (prompt engineering) and experimenting with model parameters
• Creating proofs of concept for research and development using notebooks (such as Jupyter) and analysing complex datasets
• Ensuring AI governance, implementing guardrails, tracing and secure usage best practices
• Designing scalable, cloud-native architectures and integrating AI solutions into .NET applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting code reviews and mentoring team members

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• At least five years’ hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core, with solid knowledge of database and scalable system design
• Minimum two years’ experience in machine learning, generative AI or data science, with proficiency in Python
• Practical experience with AI model fine-tuning, prompt engineering and LLM frameworks/tools (such as GPT, Transformers, Hugging Face)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock) or Azure equivalents
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of trusted AI practices, API security, AI guardrails and data privacy
• Excellent problem-solving skills, Agile/Scrum proficiency and fluent English
• Desirable: Relevant cloud or AI certifications (AWS/Azure), experience building production-grade AI solutions, exposure to MLOps and AI governance frameworks
