Link High Technologies Inc. is an MSP located in Florham Park, NJ with clients throughout the tri-state area.
We are professional, fast-paced, and customer-centric. We are looking for an Experienced Systems/Project Engineer with 5+ Years of MSP experience who will join our Projects Team and assist with physical server implementations, Wifi projects, Office 365 migrations, Azure Servers, Azure Virtual Desktops, Mimecast Email Security Gateway, etc. as needed. Also, a good percentage of our clients in the manufacturing/distribution markets still have on-premise servers and network infrastructure to maintain and expand.
Not a remote position. Engineer will report to our Florham Park offices. Certification training materials and approved tests will be covered by the company. Room to grow within the organization. Flexibility in scheduling if remote day is needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
The candidate should not be opposed to performing a wide variety of IT support ranging from simple desktop support to complex server and network issues, as dictated by clients and available work. The candidate will work with the remote support team, technical account managers, and our project team.
Qualifications and Skills
Non-Technical:
Managing IT projects ensuring they are on time and within budget, and often requiring close collaboration with different teams like sales, engineering, and support.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are a must.
Commit to continuous education, certification, and self-improvement.
Ability to communicate technical solutions to clients in a manner that clients easily understand.
Technical
5+ years of RECENT professional experience with an MSP/VAR or IT consulting firm
Microsoft Windows (server and desktop), AD/DNS- Highly Proficient
SonicWall Firewall or similar Corporate Firewall-Proficient
Office 365 (administration\troubleshooting\\migration)- Highly Proficient
Microsoft Sharepoint/Intune- Working knowledge
Azure- ( Server. Virtual Desktops) Proficient
Networking connectivity & VLANS- Highly Proficient
Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V and or VMWare) Highly Proficient
Backup Technologies such as Datto or similar
Experience with ConnectWise Manage, Automate, or similar products is highly preferred
