Senior modeling engineer is responsible for wide variety of tasks, including:

- Making measurements in the lab and supervising lab technicians.

Desirable skills:

- Familiarity with most common and advanced measurement techniques.

- DC, CV, S-parameters, noise.

- Both on-wafer and discrete components.

- Creating and maintaining semiconductor device model libraries for circuit simulation.

Desirable skills:

- Background in semiconductor device physics is a must.

- Familiarity with industry-standard circuit simulators: Spectre, HSPICE, ADS, LTSpice.

- Moderate level of expertise with Unix shell and scripting (Perl, Python, Awk, ).

- Some level of expertise with Cadence design environment is a strong bonus.

- Some level of expertise with circuit design is a bonus.

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position - except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) - may have to go through an export licensing review process.
