About the role and team:
Our mobile teams work simultaneously to bring similar but distinct experiences to our clients using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
As we continue we're always looking to find and adopt the best tools for the job - whether that's making our CI better with automated code scanning and UI testing or developing reusable libraries that we can share across projects.
We conduct unit testing across all our projects, code is always peer reviewed, and we encourage these reviews to happen "over the shoulder" (or on a call more recently) to make it a better environment for team members to learn from each other. As a team we meet regularly to discuss new approaches and challenges, whether that's within our project teams or in the wider mobile community.
What you'll be doing:
- Building high-quality mobile apps with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), using shared business logic across iOS, Android and other platforms
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Kotlin and modern mobile development practices
- Architecting and integrating shared KMP modules and contributing to shared KMP codebases
- Creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern platform-native frameworks
- Working closely with designers, product owners, testers, and clients in a collaborative, agile environment
- Championing engineering excellence and best practices across KMP and native mobile development
We'd love to talk to you if you:
- Have hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and understand how to architect and integrate shared codebases across platforms
- Have strong experience in native Android or iOS development and are confident with modern mobile frameworks and tools
- iOS experience alongside KMP is preferred but not essential - we're equally interested in strong Android engineers with KMP experience
- Are comfortable working with Kotlin and integrating shared KMP modules within native applications
- Care deeply about code quality, testing, and clean architecture principles
- Thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy collaborating with others to build great products
- Are excited about the potential of KMP and passionate about pushing mobile development forward

Skills Required
- Strong experience in native iOS development using Swift
- Experience with the latest iOS frameworks and tools
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
- Understanding of architecting and integrating shared codebases across platforms
- Experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS application architecture
- Comfort working with Kotlin and integrating shared KMP modules in native iOS applications
- Commitment to code quality, testing, and clean architecture principles
