- Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, MVVM (or similar)
- RESTful APIs, Retrofit

- Unit testing, UI testing, test automation (JUnit, Espresso, etc.)
- Asynchronous & multithreaded programming, concurrency management
- Security best practices, app hardening, secure storage, obfuscation
- Performance monitoring and optimization tools (Systrace, Profiler, ANR tracing, etc.)
- Nice to have: knowledge of Java, SOLID principles, DDD
