Senior MLOps Engineer (f/m/d)

Overview: 

As an MLOps Engineer at Aleph Alpha GmbH, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between machine learning and production systems. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust ML infrastructure to support scalable AI applications. Your Responsibilities: 

• Design, build, and optimize scalable and automated ML pipelines for  training. 

• Deploy, monitor, and manage ML models in production across cloud and on-premise environments. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML researchers, data engineers, and software developers, to streamline AI model lifecycle management. 

• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment. 

• Optimize and automate ML workflows, from data ingestion to real-time inference. 

• Develop monitoring and logging systems to track model performance, detect drift, and ensure reliability. 

• Ensure compliance and security of ML systems by implementing best practices in IAM, data privacy, and governance. 

• Work with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and scale ML models effectively. 

• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging MLOps tools to enhance productivity and scalability. 

Your Profile: 

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python or Rust 

• Strong understanding of ML model lifecycle, from development to deployment. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Expertise with distributed training frameworks. 

• Strong foundation in DevOps principles, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring. 

• Experience with shipping packaged kubernetes applications (helm). 

• Familiarity with version control and model versioning (Git, DVC, MLflow). 

• Experience in data engineering, feature stores, and data preprocessing for ML models. 

• Passion for staying up to date with MLOps innovations and applying them to drive AI scalability.
