The Senior Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer role is responsible for software development within the Dynamics CRM program. The Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer works closely with the team’s product owner, engineering team and business to understand business needs and develop technical solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments. This role also collaborates with Program Architects, Application architects, DevOps engineers, and developers to promote innovation, integration, reusability, stability, scalability, and consistency across our Dynamics program.
The Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer delivers software in accordance with established architecture direction, and Microsoft Dynamics best practices. Successful candidates will bring a passion for quality and continuous delivery, as this role is critical to the success of our teams and program.
Location: 100% remote. Working hours are based on the US Central and Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities:
- Establishes strong alignment with Product Owners to understand and deliver on road maps
- Uses Microsoft Dynamics, C#, and Javascript solutions that are secure, scalable, efficient, and stable
- Utilizes standards, proofs of concept, and templates to produce high quality software
- Leverages AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to accelerate software design, coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
- Participates in project discussions to remove technical impediments, and assists in establishing estimates
- Performs design and development for complex tasks as an active contributor to the project pipeline
- Collaborates with Application Architects and Program Architects to identify, develop, and testthe best possible solutions
- Takes ownership and provides technical leadership when production issues arise requiring software engineering expertise
- Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by the company to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to the company or our clients.
- Analyze, implement, test, document and maintain new and current software applications with minimal oversight in support of achieving the business goals.
- Assist in estimating and planning throughout the software development life cycle.
- Support people and process improvement strategies for the organization.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Software Engineering experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Microsoft Dynamics role
- Expert in Microsoft Dynamics development
- Expert in Microsoft Dynamics integrations
- Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and JS frameworks
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar coding assistants.
- Experience migrating data from various CRM systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ability to evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated code, tests, documentation, and technical recommendations.
- Understanding of responsible AI usage in software engineering, including secure handling of confidential data, intellectual property considerations, and compliance with enterprise policies.
- Experience using AI tools to improve developer productivity, automate repetitive engineering tasks, analyze and migrate data and support continuous improvement is preferred.
