The Role

Crowe is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Senior Functional Consultant to design, configure, and implement ERP solutions for manufacturing clients. You will help clients modernize back-office operations and improve financial processes, including month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, credit and collections, and cash management.

As a trusted advisor, you will lead clients through requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement D365 Finance modules, including:
    • General ledger
    • Accounts payable and receivable
    • Credit and collections
    • Cash and bank management
    • Fixed assets
    • Cost management and accounting
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Lead business process redesign and optimization, including improvements to month-end close, cash application, and back-office automation.
  • Develop and execute test plans, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Validate customizations, integrations, and data conversions in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Create functional documentation, process designs, report specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Lead client workshops, training sessions, and user-adoption activities.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for D365 Finance matters and provide post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Mentor junior consultants and share implementation best practices.
  • Identify business development opportunities and support the continued growth of Crowe’s ERP practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 4+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation experience.
  • Strong expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit and collections.
  • Experience with fixed assets, cost management, and cost accounting.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and develop functional design documentation.
  • Experience supporting integrations, data conversions, and system customizations.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, cash application, credit management, and bank reconciliation.
  • Experience leading client workshops and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
  • Experience with system integrations, positive pay, and advanced bank reconciliation.

Travel

Travel may be required up to 80%, depending on project phase and client needs.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $79,100.00 - $156,600.00 per year.
