The Role
As the Senior Marketing Program Manager, you will play an instrumental role in planning and executing strategic marketing programs and growth initiatives that accelerate client acquisition, client deepening, retention and revenue for the Ameriprise® Personal Wealth Group (APWG) practice. In this role, you will help represent APWG marketing across the firm, partnering with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, develop and launch marketing campaigns and collateral.
The APWG is an integral part of Ameriprise Financials’ Advice and Wealth Management business, delivering the Ameriprise Client Experience through a dedicated, team-based approach. With more than 200 advisors and product specialists, the APWG helps clients confidently navigate their finances through goal-based advice, deep product expertise, advanced digital tools and proactive engagement to drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign and Program Strategy, Development and Execution

  • Partners with APWG leaders to identify and prioritize client and prospect campaign and program strategy for client deepening and prospect nurturing programs.

  • Works with Corporate Marketing channel teams to drive campaign and collateral development, reviews, approvals, testing and deployment.

Project Management

  • Drives alignment and leads communication around timelines, processes, and deliverables for key campaigns and initiatives.

  • Maintains and fosters increasingly greater operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Supports program execution through detailed project tracking, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement.

  • Oversees end-to-end creative campaign development, working with both internal and external agencies as needed. 

  • Ensures campaigns uphold brand standards, industry best practices and legal and compliance requirements to deliver a premium client experience at-scale.

  • Manages campaign and program reporting in close collaboration with Enterprise Data, Insights and Analytics team.

  • Tracks and communicates comprehensive marketing program and campaign performance results to key stakeholders

  • Makes data-driven recommendations and program optimizations to drive optimal growth and impact.

Required Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience successfully developing and leading multiple marketing initiatives and campaigns, ideally within the financial services industry

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently to advance projects across multiple platforms and channels

  • Ability to translate complex marketing strategy into clear execution plans, timelines, and deliverables

  • Outstanding relationship-building skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management; ability to influence VP+ leaders and guide cross‑functional partners

  • A digital-first, data-driven approach, with the ability to analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, insights and areas of improvement to drive marketing strategy forward.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with Marketing Automation platforms (i.e. Adobe, Salesforce) is a plus.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000 - $137,600 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
