Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager, B2B Growth
Department: Go-to-Market
Reports to: VP, Sales
Job type: Full-time
Location: Roswell, Georgia
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with three days each week in the Roswell office
Base salary: approved maximum to $130,000 annually
BrightLink provides technology for credentialing organizations, helping professional bodies streamline exam delivery and credential management. We bring deep experience in credentialing and assessment technology to the systems these organizations rely on when putting candidates to the test.
We are building a more focused go-to-market operation and are looking for a senior marketer who can turn commercial priorities into consistent, measurable work.
The roleBrightLink is hiring a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to build and execute B2B growth programs across campaigns, events, content, website conversion, marketing operations, and sales enablement.
Marketing work is already happening across our website, conferences, sponsorships, content, and sales support. You will bring that work under a coordinated plan, establish a reliable operating cadence, and help BrightLink make better use of its customer evidence, product knowledge, industry relationships, and market presence.
This role combines planning with direct execution. You will work with the VP of Sales and leaders across Product, Customer Success, and the company to shape priorities, then turn those priorities into finished work. You will personally execute core marketing activities and coordinate specialist contractors when additional expertise is needed.
BrightLink operates in a focused, relationship-driven market with long buying cycles. Success will be measured by stronger target-account engagement, better sales opportunities, pipeline progress, customer expansion, and more productive use of seller time, not lead volume alone.
What you will do- Build and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans in partnership with the VP of Sales.
- Help define priority market segments, buyer groups, campaign audiences, and marketing contribution goals.
- Translate company strategy and product capabilities into clear, accurate positioning and messaging.
- Plan and run focused campaigns with a defined audience, offer, owner, follow-up process, and intended commercial outcome.
- Work closely with Sales to create useful reasons for target accounts to engage and improve the path from marketing activity to accepted opportunities.
- Turn customer evidence, product expertise, market insight, and executive perspectives into content that supports campaigns and sales conversations.
- Coordinate conferences, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking opportunities around clear commercial goals, including preparation and post-event follow-up.
- Improve website conversion paths and develop useful ways for prospective buyers to engage before they are ready for a sales conversation.
- Establish practical campaign tracking, lifecycle definitions, source data, and reporting that connect marketing activity to account engagement and pipeline.
- Maintain a consistent operating cadence for campaigns, content, events, reporting, and cross-functional planning.
- Coordinate specialist contractors for work such as design, video, technical SEO, website development, or paid media when there is a defined need.
- Track marketing spending and connect material costs to a specific campaign, event, audience, or business objective.
- Use AI responsibly to support research, drafting, repurposing, account preparation, event administration, and reporting. AI should shorten production time without replacing judgment, source verification, or fact-checking.
- Test new approaches at a practical scale, expand work that produces useful commercial evidence, and change or stop work that does not.
- At least six years of B2B marketing experience, including experience with SaaS, technology, or another business with complex sales cycles.
- Experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing programs, not only managing agencies or reviewing other people’s work.
- A record of turning business priorities and product capabilities into campaigns, content, positioning, and sales support.
- Practical knowledge of demand generation, account-based marketing, campaign measurement, and pipeline contribution.
- Experience marketing in a focused or relationship-driven market where inbound volume is only one part of the growth strategy.
- Hands-on proficiency with marketing automation and CRM systems, including campaign tracking, lifecycle stages, source data, reporting, and dashboards.
- Experience planning and evaluating conferences, sponsorships, webinars, or other field-marketing programs against business goals.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex product and market information clear without overstating the case.
- Sound budget judgment and the ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs when time, people, and money are limited.
- The ability to work constructively with Sales, Product, Customer Success, company leadership, and outside specialists.
- A high degree of ownership, follow-through, and comfort moving between planning and execution.
- The ability to work from BrightLink’s Roswell office three days each week.
- Marketing enterprise software or services to credentialing organizations, certification bodies, licensing boards, professional associations, or other regulated markets.
- Knowledge of assessment, testing, credentialing, or professional licensure technology.
- Experience reaching executive and operational buyers through an account-based or consultative go-to-market model.
- Experience working as part of a lean marketing function and deciding when contractors, tools, or additional investment are warranted.
- Familiarity with product marketing, technical SEO, website conversion, measured paid-media testing, and customer marketing.
- Practical experience building responsible AI-assisted marketing workflows.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
During your first 90 days, you will:
- Establish a baseline for current marketing activity, spending, systems, and performance.
- Build a coordinated campaign, content, and event calendar around BrightLink’s commercial priorities.
- Launch at least two focused campaigns with defined audiences, follow-up plans, and measures of progress.
- Improve campaign tracking and the handoff between marketing activity and Sales.
- Review BrightLink’s conference and sponsorship portfolio against commercial goals.
- Recommend a twelve-month marketing plan and budget based on what you learn.
- Base salary of approved maximum of $130,000 annually, based on directly relevant experience.
- Health and vision benefits.
- 401(k) with company matching.
- A hybrid work schedule with two remote days each week.
BrightLink focuses on positive personal growth for our team members, clients, and the people our clients serve. We value people who take ownership, ask thoughtful questions, work well across functions, and leave the work in better shape than they found it.
This position is based in Roswell, Georgia and requires 2-3 days each week in the Roswell office. It is not a fully remote position. Candidates who are not currently within commuting distance should be prepared to relocate before starting.
BrightLink is an equal opportunity employer.
