Job Description

This KPI-driven role is focused on sustaining and growing revenue and profitability. It requires significant engagement with current and prospective airline partners to build strong, strategic relationships. Develop deep knowledge of assigned markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners, including making contributions to market strategies for assigned markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead airline commercial negotiations within assigned markets to secure competitive terms and drive revenue.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with airlines, connectivity, wholesaler and aggregator partners prioritizing high-value, strategic partners. Act as the face of Traveloka in assigned markets, representing airline commercials.

  • Liaise with internal teams in product, marketing, and analytics to drive supply effectiveness, price competitiveness, and inventory optimization.

  • Provide actionable insights for business strategy and support initiatives in business development, product enhancements, and user experience improvements.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of travel and airline industry dynamics, including competitor models, market trends. 

  • Develop and sustain strong strategic partnerships by providing insights and high-quality consulting services to relevant partners.

  • Spearhead projects in assigned locales, including but not limited to specific campaigns or partnerships.

  • Ensure customer conversions through providing optimum supply offerings from partners.

  • Leverage and refine existing business tools to maximize team productivity, ensuring alignment with Traveloka’s operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Communications/Social Science from top local or overseas universities.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in travel industry, E-commerce/OTA sales is a plus

  • Ability to manage Performance Targets and willingness to visit partners and work outside the office

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong intuitions of tourism industry players

  • A strong drive to make things happen and ability to influence

  • Able to work independently with minor guidance, fast learner, result oriented person

  • A dedicated person with strong proven result for sales/marketing are encouraged to apply

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Familiarity with Airline, Service and Online Travel Agent (OTA) businesses

  • Willing to travel if required
