Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Technical skills
  • Minimum, a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related technical field.    
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or similar roles; with at least 5+ years of these in the medical device industry.
  • English fluency required

  • Strong Validation Expertise: Ability to lead and execute equipment and process validation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving Skills: Proven capability to analyze complex manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English and Spanish: Ability to clearly convey technical information internally across teams and externally to customers and stakeholders.

  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification: Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Project Management Experience: Ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results within timelines and budgets.
  • Leadership and Mentoring Skills: Capability to guide junior engineers and foster a culture of operational excellence.
Soft skills
  • Clear and professional communications to all levels of the organization are important in this role and you will have well-developed written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, develop and implement a wide range of new technologies of significant scope and complexity.
  • Originate new documents such as protocols, reports, specifications and work-instructions.
  • Review documentation work of peers and engineers.
  • You may lead cross-functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and or complexity and may influence others to achieve goals.
