Solution & Commercial Development• Translate complex client challenges into clear commercial opportunities and connect them with the right combination of Mastercard Services capabilities.• Lead the development of compelling value propositions, proposals, business cases and commercial models.• Coordinate internal experts across consulting, data and analytics, marketing, loyalty, risk, cybersecurity and other Services capabilities to develop integrated client solutions.• Articulate complex solutions in a clear, executive-oriented and commercially compelling manner.• Support commercial negotiations and ensure opportunities meet Mastercard's strategic and commercial objectives.
One Mastercard Collaboration• Partner closely with Account Management to ensure Services priorities are fully integrated into broader Mastercard account strategies.• Operate under a One Team approach, creating joint account plans and coordinated client engagement strategies.• Mobilize the right Mastercard Services experts and capabilities around strategic opportunities.• Maintain strong alignment with regional Services leadership, capability leaders, delivery teams and other internal stakeholders.• Ensure successful transition from sales to execution while remaining engaged with the client to identify expansion and follow-on opportunities.
This mirrors Mastercard's published expectation that Services BD professionals align efforts with the Mastercard core team and partner with project teams to ensure quality and identify follow-up sales opportunities
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will:• Build a healthy and sustainable Services pipeline across the three markets.• Deliver against annual sales and revenue targets.• Increase Services penetration within assigned strategic accounts.• Establish strong senior and C-suite client relationships.• Generate larger and more strategic multi-capability opportunities.• Expand relationships from individual engagements into long-term Services partnerships.• Create strong collaboration between Services and Account Management.• Maintain commercial discipline across pipeline management, pricing, contracting and execution.
