The Senior Manager, WoW Product Management operates at a broader strategic scope, leading one or multiple product areas or complex initiatives across regions. This role shapes strategy, aligns senior stakeholders, and drives execution that impacts revenue, engagement, and franchise health. The Senior Manager balances hands-on product leadership with oversight of high-impact cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- As product owner of WoW China, drive the success of WOW in China with internal and external stakeholders
- Own WoW China product strategy and align with our dev team and publishing partner
- Maintain product roadmap for China, oversee the execution, output and analysis of results
- Manage the product idea funnel, conduct player surveys, receive proposals from partners and stakeholders, provide feedback and updates to product roadmaps
- Lead the product strategic direction and execution across one or multiple features or initiatives aligned to franchise and business objectives.
- Translate business directives into roadmaps, KPIs, and measurable outcomes tied to revenue, engagement, and player health.
- Establish, monitor, and interpret dashboards and performance metrics to guide decision-making and prioritize investments.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across regional and global teams, ensuring alignment to business goals.
- Influence prioritization, tradeoffs, and investment decisions through data-driven insights and strong business acumen.
- Anticipate and mitigate strategic, operational, and financial risks.
- Partner closely with publishing, commercial, analytics, marketing, finance, and development teams to align product execution with business performance.
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across engagement, monetization, live operations, and player lifecycle.
- Oversee lifecycle planning, including launch readiness, performance tracking, and post-launch optimization.
- Represent product strategy and performance in leadership discussions, clearly articulating results, risks, and recommendations.
- Identify capability gaps and lead product training initiatives to strengthen team and cross-functional effectiveness.
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to a team, ensuring their performance is managed effectively and fostering a productive, positive, collaborative work culture.
- Own and manage relationships with key partners and champion efforts that build synergy, trust, collaboration, and inclusivity within the organization.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, strategy, or related roles within gaming or technology.
- Minimum 4 years of direct people-management experience, including leading and developing individual contributors; experience managing managers is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership of initiatives impacting revenue, growth, or engagement.
- Experience operating across global or regional markets.
Knowledge & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- Deep understanding of live-service game engagement systems, game economies, personalization, and commerce.
- Deep knowledge of MMORPG game genre, China competitor landscape and user insights.
- Track record of leading product roadmap and development direction planning, execution is preferred.
- Skilled at analyzing complex data and insights to inform decision-making, improving processes and products, and drive measurable results.
- Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator, capable of navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and influencing outcomes in high-growth environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to improving operations and fostering innovation within teams.
