Senior Manager of Trust and Corporate Administration

The Senior Manager will work closely with Country Leader & Senior Management and other staff to provide Director, Trustee, and other related administration services to a wide range of private wealth vehicles.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Leadership
- The Senior Manager provides input to help constructing an annual team plan and budget, and supports execution of the team plan, in line with organizational strategy to contribute to the realization of organizational objectives.
- The Senior Manager takes the role in showing exemplary behaviour in leadership through the CSC values.
- Pro-actively coordinates and shares information with the Finance and Compliance on a regular basis to ensure best in class working relationships between the Business Unit, Finance and Compliance and stimulating a culture of collaboration.
- Meets regularly with staff to identify (potential) problem areas, discusses possible solutions and encourages and motivates staff to embrace a constructive, change oriented way of working.
- Handles and solves any query escalated by the Senior Relationship Manager(s), as necessary. Further escalates queries to the Country Leader where needed.
Fiduciary Services
Relationship Management
- Accept appointment as a director of parent company and affiliated/nominee companies
- Oversees the fiduciary team regarding duties of various types of trust vehicles, funds, and other corporate vehicles
- Oversees performance of detailed reviews of client documentation to ensure compliance with group standards
- Liaise with attorneys, investment bankers, arrangers and other financial service providers located in various jurisdictions globally
- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the department are effectively and efficiently coordinated and implemented
- Contribute to and assist in the preparation of annual and long-term business plans and budgets
- In conjunction with other senior management investigate and develop new business lines to increase the depth and breath of services provided
- Provide clear leadership, promote, and foster a team culture consistent with the organisational values, enterprise competencies
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff
- Establish training for the administration team on the various structures and to address any knowledge deficits identified
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements of group are met
- Deliver a high standard of client services
Business Development
- Prepares and executes the Commercial Business Plan and upsell revenue targets.
- Coaches their Business Unit on commercial awareness, in close cooperation with the Business Developers and the Global Sales team, resulting in the identification of commercial opportunities, upsell and delivery of increased revenues from new and existing clients.
- Contributes to product/market development, together with the Business Developers and in line with internal procedures and guidelines, to contribute to the realization of the business development goals.
- Attends meetings of prospects and intermediaries to present CSC and its services. Participates in business trips for visiting existing clients, intermediaries, and new potential clients
Client invoicing
- Reviews the time writing of the Fiduciary team on a weekly basis to ensure appropriate chargeability and a proper invoicing of the work.
- Responsible for overseeing the Fiduciary’s timely cash collection of outstanding invoices.
People Management
- Encourages the fiduciary team members to focus on personal development, outstanding performance, and good attitude.
- Managing the team capacity and assists in hiring or replacement of staff members in the Business Unit.
- Organises the annual appraisal, target setting and promotion process for the team in close cooperation with Country Leader and HR Director.
- Conducts the appraisal and target setting for the entire team along with Country Leader.
- Identifies development needs in the Fiduciary team and discusses in close cooperation with the County Leader any action to be taken, including but not limited to providing training, mentoring, feedback and recognition, draft developments plans etc where relevant.
What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?
University Degree or professional studies in law.
A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in a legal or financial services environment
A minimum of 3 years management experience
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Solid knowledge of relevant laws, local regulations, corporate governance, and best practices
Solid knowledge of international law, local law, and trust law
