The Role

As a Senior Manager, Total Rewards LATAM you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits strategies across the Latin America region. You will ensure that total rewards programs are equitable and aligned with our goals and market best practices. Additionally, you will lead projects related to compensation, benefits, and international mobility, ensuring compliance with local regulations while supporting talent retention and engagement. You will manage a team. You will report to the Head of Global Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs, including base salary structures, short- and long-term incentives, and regional benefits.

  • Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure agreement on industry standards and our needs.

  • Partner with HR leaders to align total rewards strategies with our goals and talent priorities

  • Lead annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonus plans, and equity programs, ensuring agreement on corporate guidelines and local regulations.

  • Provide expert guidance on job evaluations, salary bands, and pay equity across the LATAM region.

  • Support executive compensation projects and coordinate regional reward programs for senior leadership.

  •  Design and oversee employee benefits programs, including health and wellness projects, retirement plans, and work-life balance programs tailored to each country in the region.

  • Ensure benefits offerings and cost-effective while enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies related to compensation and benefits.

  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to maintain accurate reporting and audit readiness for total rewards programs.

  • Be a strategic advisor to HR Partners, finance teams, and senior leadership on total rewards matters.

  • Communicate and train HR teams and managers on compensation and benefits processes, and best practices.

  • Lead change management efforts related to rewards programs and foster a culture of pay transparency and fairness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CCP, CEBS, or GRP).

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a multinational environment.

  • Understanding of total rewards practices, labor laws, and market trends across LATAM.

  • Proficiency in compensation analytics, job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Hay, Mercer), HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP), and Excel/Power BI for data analysis.

  • Analytical and management skills.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

  • Accounting licensure, like CPA
