Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Technical with a proven track record of leading and managing technical teams both internal and external contractors.

The ideal candidate will have over 12+ years of extensive experience in building and overseeing technical teams, demonstrating expertise in agile development methodologies, CI/CD practices using cloud-based Microservices architecture.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions within budget constraints.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage technical teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Technical Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Agile Development: Drive and implement agile development methodologies to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and responsiveness in project execution.
Work towards sustaining current processes and implementing new ones.
Codebase development as defined by the Employer and maintaining codebases between different global applications.
CI/CD Practices: Implement and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices to streamline software development and deployment processes.
Secure Software Implementation: Responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust security strategies within the software development lifecycle.

●Good knowledge in secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and the ability to incorporate security measures into CI/CD pipelines.
Modern development practices: Leverage extensive experience in cloud-based Microservices architecture to design and implement scalable andresilient solutions.

Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical solutions into broader business strategies.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable and robust software solutions.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring proactive measures are taken to address potential issues.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
Operations support: Ensuring quick remedy for critical high priority issues in live operational systems.
Team Building: Responsible for recruiting, training and empowering team members.

Essential and Desirable Skills

● Having 12+ years of proven experience.

● Proven programming ability in Python.
● Experience in CI/CD and AWS services
● Experience in Odoo framework is a big plus.
● Strong knowledge on RDBMS. Knowledge on Postgres & hands on with PL/SQL scripting is a big plus.
● Working knowledge of Linux Ubuntu environment is a plus.
● Should have experience working in an agile development model, shipping quality deliverables every sprint.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
● Understanding the business requirements, designing the component and delivering it with the help of various scrum teams each sprint.
● High proficiency with development practices, tools and workflows.
● Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
● Manage and control the continuous release promotion cycle (through automation) of development, staging, UAT and production environments.
● A strong cultural fit with the existing team and stakeholders.
● Manage client interactions and expectations with respect to sprint deliverables from the respective scrum teams.

Qualifications required:
B.E/B.Tech(CSE) / M.E/M.Tech(CSE) / MCA - Computer Science / Information Technology with excellent academic record.
