The Crown Is Yours
We're searching for an energetic and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Tax to enhance our dynamic Finance organization. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping and managing our taxation framework, encompassing areas like global income tax compliance, SEC income tax provision, and SOX controls. You'll have the exciting opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated team of tax professionals, contributing significantly to their growth and our overall success. Your expertise in tax management will be instrumental in steering our tax strategy and continued innovation in the industry.
What you'll do as a Senior Manager, Tax
- Coordinate provisions for taxes (ASC 740 & ASC 450-20).
- Partner with 3rd party tax compliance on Federal form 1120, FinCEN filings, and S<.
- Draft technical memos to memorialize our tax positions, suggesting changes where appropriate.
- Perform detailed review of statutes, regulations, and case law as needed.
- Draft policies and procedures to support our tax positions, as well as create the controls to ensure they're followed.
- Revisit risk areas regularly and work with tax counsel as needed.
- Devise protocols to ensure the software is functioning as intended and perform a detailed review of statutes, regulations, and case law as needed.
- Troubleshoot risk areas, working with tax advisors as needed.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field and CPA (or LLM) are required; Masters in Tax is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience, preferably in gaming, e-commerce, and/or a similar data-rich tech environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- Experience in a publicly traded company.
- Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
- Ability to build, develop, and scale tax functions and programs while delivering results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000.00 - $216,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
