About the Team:

The Tax function in India center is responsible for managing U.S. federal, partnership, state and local, and tax compliance, tax reporting, tax accounting, and governance activities. The team partners closely with US Tax team, finance, controllership, external advisors, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
 Impact The Senior Manager - US Tax Compliance Review will lead the review and oversight of complex U.S. tax returns and related compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. This role will serve as a key reviewer and advisor, driving quality standards, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting strategic tax initiatives.The individual will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, risk mitigation, audit readiness, and team development while maintaining a strong compliance culture.
Key Deliverables

Tax Compliance Review & Oversight

 

  • Lead the review of U.S. Federal, State, and Local tax returns and supporting workpapers.

  • Review and technical knowledge of SALT combined / stand-alone filings. Have a clear understanding of Nexus / Sourcing rule for the preparation of Allocation and apportionment.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual tax compliance deliverables and ensure timely filing of returns and extensions.

  • Review estimated tax calculations, apportionment & allocation methodologies, nexus analyses, and supporting schedules

  • Evaluate technical tax positions and ensure proper application of federal and state tax regulations.

Skills and Qualification

Preferred Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • CPA, CA, EA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 12+ years CA and else 15+ years of progressive experience in U.S. State and Federal tax compliance, tax review, and tax reporting.
  • Significant experience reviewing U.S. Federal and State income tax returns.
  • Experience managing teams and reviewing work prepared by tax professionals.
  • Combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience preferred.
  • U.S. Federal Corporate Tax (Form 1120) and State & Local Tax (SALT)
  • eSource Tax Software and other tax tools.
  • ASC 740 fundamentals and partnership tax compliance (added advantage)
